Kings Love Empire Makes History
On Friday 24th January, 2025, Ssemanda Mansouri stage name King Saha invited the Kings Love family for a night out in Lugogo Cricket Oval. He was accompanied by many artists like Uncle Pallaso and Spice Diana not to forget Uncle Chumi. Gates were opened at 10:00am. Fans arrived and filled Lugogo as nobody wanted to miss the public holiday in Uganda Music Industry. Let’s explore some key scenarios from the concert.

The Royal Entrance
The house MC electrified everyone in the crowd telling them to light up the venue using torches in a way of welcoming Uganda’s Top Vocalist in a Night to Remember. As the anthems of the National of Uganda and NUP faded, people held their breaths. And then, like a scene from a musical fairytale, King Saha strode in-sitting gloriously on a throne, dripping in a strong red suit and a crown that screamed showmanship. It was more than an entrance; it was a statement.
A Musical Time Capsule

Saha first teased the audience with his new single ‘Nakyakala’ meaning ‘to party’ which set the theme for the night. He then performed “Signal” from 2011 accompanied by a magnificent dance performance which took the fans back to his Afro-pop debut. The King was not just performing; he was telling stories. Every song represents a chapter in his musical growth.
He then delivered electrifying songs one after another, starting with ‘Sikyakusobola’ solo, then ‘Teddy Tereza’, ‘Mulilwana’, and ‘Mwana Gwe’. He then presented ‘Abantu Baffe’ , a duo featuring Ziza Bafana, which sent the crowd to a higher tune. The screams then exploded during the delivery of ‘Mpa Love’, his hit single featuring Weasal.
He followed this up with ‘Bambi’ and ‘Bili Bili’, then ‘Mukama Yamba’ from last year. He did his duet with Sheebah, ‘Muwomya’, with a dance crew in Sheebah’s absence. Spice Diana joined him to perform their hit song ‘Best Friend’.
Moments of Magic

After performing over 12 songs, King Saha changed costume; each costume told a different story about the artist’s versatility. He opened with ‘Gundeeze’, which fans enthusiastically sang along to with the live band. He then performed his single ‘Money’ and assured the crowd that he was just getting started and would perform all his songs.
He continued with ‘Pretty Pretty’ and then delivered ‘Kimala’, his revolutionary song that earned a standing ovation from Bobi Wine. Following that, he performed ‘Owomukwano Wandaba’ and ‘Tuwage’. He then read his letter to the Kabaka of Buganda; Ronald Muwenda Mutebi.
Mark de Urban joined him to perform ‘Want It’, after which he officially sang ‘Nakyakala’. Mudra came on stage for ‘Ku Nya’, followed by Navio’s performance of their duo ‘Nkwagala Omu’. Shakira Shakira then delivered an electric performance of ‘Kokonyo’ with him. Next in line was ‘Science’; a golden oldie.
He then changed to his last outfit of the day and performed ‘On My Way’, followed by ‘Hullo’ and an elite dance choreography in ‘Sala Pressure’. The hit single ‘Zakayo’ set the stage for the grand finale, ‘EBISEERA EBYO,’ bringing an unforgettable night of pure musical magic to a close, delivered by Uganda’s greatest vocalist.

King Saha showed his gratitude to the massive audience that attended the concert; his fans and the VIPs for their support. He went ahead to express his gratitude to Umoja Management for backdoor work, to all well-wishers, and most importantly to his loyal Kings Love Empire fans and manager Sam Mukasa.

As the night concluded, it dawned that King Saha is more than just an artist. He is a storyteller, a performer who doesn’t just sing songs but lives them. He performed over 25 songs; Giving his fans an unforgettable experience and moments to remember; in a night that made history as it filled Lugogo to Capacity.
